
BRINGING GUESTS TO CANADIAN CLUB EVENTS AT
A GVR FACILITY
The Canadian Club is a GVR Club. When we hold an
event at a GVR site, we must follow GVR’s new Guest Card Policy which came
into effect January 1, 2009.
If you are bringing guests to a Canadian Club event at
a GVR facility, please follow these two steps:
1. Register your guest’s proposed
attendance with the Club in advance by Email or phone (you can do this when
you register yourself), AND
2. Acquire the appropriate
We ask for your cooperation and patience as we all
adjust to new ways of doing things, and we look forward to a great season!
GVR Members who are owners can purchase an Annual GVR
Guest Card for $20, which enables their guests to use GVR faciilities.
A GVR Annual Guest Card also enables you to bring any number of guests to
Club events, but you will have to supply the Card Number as part of the
registration process.
Individual GVR Day Passes are also available at the
cost of $1 each and may be purchased by owners or tenants at major GVR
centres. The guest’s name and the date of the Canadian Club event is
required in order to purchase a Guest Day Pass. (Booklets of blank
passes are no longer available).
Guests wishing to attend Canadian Club functions in
(a) those owning a GVR associated property
(b) those renting a GVR associated property
(c) those owning or renting a property which is more than 20 miles outside
GVR's associated property jurisdiction
(d) Guests of GVR members living with the member or renting a non-GVR
associated property.
Those owning a non-GVR associated property within the 20 mile GVR corporated
jurisdiction are not eligible to attend.
Note that the annual golf tournament (in Tubac) does not take place within
GVR facilities and therefore the above restrictions do not apply.
